what i wore {exposed}

this is why I love these earrings.

totally {sort of} exposed.  even in my closest-to-sweats-without-being-sweats clothes, no makeup, hair pulled back... put them on, and they just give you that needed boost.  check them out for yourself.

jacket - madewell
tank - anthro
jeans - 7 for all mankind {patched twice on my backside folks}
flip flops - rainbows
all very old.

outfit #2 a very fun night out for me.  my sis-n-law and I attended the Nordstrom 2012 fall trends fashion show.  this was my first time to a fashion show and I loved it all.  I wanted it all.  plus they served yummy hors d'oerves and this cocktail named the "fashionista".  muddled cucumber with vodka, fresh lime juice, agave nectar, and a splash of soda.  it was so delicious.

then I found this hat, that I definitely think I must have.  except then I need to find the rest of the outfit to go with it.

I pinned an outfit similar to this on pinterest.  this was my best attempt at imitating it.  don't you wish you could have your "pinterest closet" as your real closest.  seriously.

blazer - Zara
tank - oldie from banana
jeans - Vioss from Nordstrom Rack
shoes - Cole Haan
necklaces - Lucia K. Faye Knotted Ball and Blake Painted Chain

linking up with Pleated Poppy for what i wore wednesday.

happy wednesday.

best,
kirsty

  1. You look beautiful in these pictures - I'm seriously so jealous of how good red lipstick looks on you! My face was not made for lipstick :(

    1. thanks Franziska! I used to think the same thing {about red lipstick} but I reeeeeeally wanted to rock it. so everytime I went to the mall I tried on a different shade and then would glance at myself throughout the dept store, usually in sweats ;) however many trips later, i found one that worked, and now I'm addicted.
