because everyone wants clothing and accessory pieces that can give your closet more interest and versatility, and be on trend. so we thought we'd play dress-up. AND I finally talked Jenn into being in front of the camera.
we are both totally digging our new pleather shirt {seattlites you can find it at Queen Anne Dispatch}. Jenn and I tend to have a lot of the same pieces of clothing, and this trend is huge this fall. so what better place to start, then to show you a few ways we are wearing it.
1. cool casual - use it as your basic, layered under a great casual jacket, add in a colorful scarf, leopard flats and bright turquoise earrings.
shirt - Bobi
jacket - Free People {love it so much we both own it, also available at QA Dispatch.}
jeans - 7 for all Mankind
scarf - Anthropologie
shoes - J. Crew
purse - Nordstrom {from anniversary sale sold out! similar}
earrings - Lucia K. {soon!}
sunglasses - Salt
2. casual prep - layered over a classic white shirt to give this classic look more of an edge, add in the juxtaposition of distressed denim with patent pumps and a striped bow bracelet.
shirt - Bobi
white shirt - Zara {old}
jeans - Vigoss, {old from Nordstrom Rack, similar}
shoes - Cole Haan {love these shoes and this is a smoking sale}
bracelet - Lucia K. Jewelry Caroline
3. all grown up - paired with the hottest pant of the season and sleek booties.
shirt - Bobi
pants - Aritzia {sold out, similar}
booties - L.K. Bennett, Nordstrom
necklace - J. Crew
clutch - Gap {sold out, similar}
4. playing dress up - balancing out a girly tulle skirt. add in a chunky necklace and heels to keep from feeling too much like a ballerina. {bonus: this shirt is knit in the back, so I just tied a small knot to give the shirt a less boxy more cinched waste feel.}
shirt - Bobi
skirt - last season from QA Dispatch {this one is amazing!}
shoes - Faryl Robin, Free People {sold out, similar}
clutch - vintage
necklace - Lucia K. Nora
so there you have it. our first attempt at styling four ways friday. what do you think? which one is your favorite?
