its about time we styled some jewelry {4 way friday}

two girls.  one necklace {plus maybe a couple more}.  styled 4 ways.

obviously, Jenn and I think accessorizing {boots, scarves, hats, jewelry} is a great way to take an outfit and make it fabulous.

I think its about time we styled jewelry pieces 4 ways.  we chose to style the Blake necklace.  it's simple yet sophisticated and can be worn alone or layered with other necklaces, and with a plethora of outfits.  also, with all the warmer gold tones that are showing up everywhere, its a great way to introduce gold into your wardrobe.  the gold chain is painted white, so the warmth is subtle but effective.   if you are a little hesitant but have been wanting to warm up your metals this is a great way to do it...

outfit #1 - brighten up the black and gray.  notice how the gold detailing in those fab over-the-knee boots is repeated in the jewelry.  this is a great way to lighten up a great black sweater for fall.

 poncho - Vince {steal it here}
jeans - 7fam, Saks
bracelets - Nora and Stella & Dot
necklaces - Lucia K Jewelry Blake and Christine {not yet on the website}

outfit #2 - stripes and bling.  what I love about the blake necklace is that it can be worn with simple items to create interest, as above, but it can also work well with busier patterned items, it sort of becomes a shiny neutral.

sweater - french connection, Queen Anne Dispatch {old}
jeans - 7fam, Hautelook {serious sale here}
shoes - Matisse, Queen Anne Dispatch, also Anthropologie
lipstick - MAC, Nordstrom {I'm obsessed and it helps a good cause}
necklaces - Lucia K. Jewelry Blake and Christine

outfit #3 - oh burgundy, I heart you!  there is a whole lot of favorites going on in this outfit, so a simple blake worn alone is the perfect touch.  burgundy wax jeans, awesome.  cozy marled cardi, yes.  wedge booties, absolutely.  and then a touch of charm.

cardigan - Hinge, Nordstrom
denim shirt - similar
jeans - AG, Nordstrom {yay Nordstrom sale.}
shoes - Nike, Nordstrom {sale also!}
necklace - Lucia K. Jewelry Blake

outfit #4 - to keep me from looking like the wicked witch of california.  I don't know what else to say except it warms up my otherwise sort of dark outfit.   hmmm, can you tell that fall has settled in.  so many black, grays and jewel tones.

sweater - Painted Threads, Nordstrom
dress - Bobi, Queen Anne Dispatch {similar}
shoes - Dolce Vita {found mine at an amazing sample sale, also here.}
earrings - Lucia K. Jewelry Tag
necklaces - Lucia K. Jewelry Blake and Faye Knotted Ball

here  &here...a couple more ways to we are wearing the blake, the possibilities are endless...
