The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is underway, with preselect shopping for Nordstrom cardholders beginning yesterday. This sale is an excellent opportunity to both stock up on or refresh your "wardrobe work horses" (think underwear, t-shirts, jeans) and splurge on special items that you wouldn't ordinarily pay full-price for (hello cashmere sweater!).
