Who doesn't need a hug on a Monday: my fave Nordstrom sweater picks.

I looooooove a great sweater, or jacket.  It's one of the heartbreaks {woe is me} of moving to southern California.  Anytime the temp drops below 60 and that cool ocean breeze blows, you bets believe I am pulling out a favorite knit and jonesing for crisp fall day and hot coffee.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, is the perfect place to find your go-to fall/winter sweater or jacket {or cape, poncho, I had to draw the line somewhere...} at a great price.  Here are my choices...

{Kensie "Teddy Bear" coat -- I mean it's called Teddy Bear, I love. all. of. it.}

{Plaid Cardigan Coat.  Love the cuffs, and the collar, and the oversized plaid knit.}

{Faux Fur Vest, so glad fur is sticking around, it just makes fashion so much more fun.  A long fur vest is easy, no worrying about the crop factor.  I love the color of this one.}

{Northface Trench.  This one is actually on my list,  Dare I admit,  because I feel like being the mom of two boys who do a lot of outdoor activities and sports, this will be a workhorse in my closet for it's functionality, and I love the sleek, classic long lasting style.  Totally worth it.}

{Topshop Slouch Coat.  I love an oversized collar, and texture/color on this, just right.}

{Sam Edelman Tiered Faux Fur.  So yes it's the best rich color of red, makes you want an awesome cheese tray and glass of red wine right?  You may say, it's red, that's not practical, but what I have found, is if it makes you happy, it will be the one you reach for in your closet.  Over and over again.  Don't worry, it will go with everything.}

{Vince Camuto Shearling Vest.  Vests are awesome because they take on a different persona depending on what you layer underneath, again the oversize collar and the texture of the faux fur is just right.}

{Topshop Side Split Sweater.  It's the length and mock turtleneck, drapey shoulders, it just gets me.}

{Vince Cable Knit Poncho.  Cable knit is close to my heart, this is definitely a splurge but it would be so loved.}

{Dreamers by Debut Cowl Neck.  Hmmmm are you sensing an oversize comfort theme here??  Cowl necks - welcome back!  and this olive green, so good.}

{Topshop Colorblock Sweater.  This is the hip person I want to be. }

{Wildfox "Yes Love" Pullover.  Absolutely, yes please.  Do you own a graphic print top yet?}

{Leith V-Back Sweater.  There should always be some sass in back.  Even when you are feeling blah, you get to put on an oversized I need a hug sweater and still party in the back and feel feminine and lovely.}

{Topshop Hooded Cardigan.  Again the cuffs, a slim fit but still enough to wear over more than a tank top.  I think this would be amazing paired with flair leg jeans, or with anything.}

Grouping jackets and sweaters together made for a long post, and I even held back!  Do you have a fave?  Fall fabulousness all around?  I think so.

Good Night Sunday and Happy Monday,
xo
Kirsty.

  1. Love the faux fur! I love to wear that style when I fly in and out of Orange County or LAX. Just to pretend I'm almost famous for the day. Love your picks.
