Filson, a Pacific Northwest tradition for over 100yrs.

Recently I had the opportunity to attend the new Filson Flagship Grand Opening in Seattle.

In perfect form, there was a chainsaw artist to greet you at the door {along with hosted local food trucks.}

Founded in 1850, gaining momentum and success during the Alaskan Klondike GoldRush, Filson focuses on natural materials such as Mackinaw Wool, standing behind long-lasting durability and superior craftsmanship.

Not only does Filson offer a lifetime guarantee on their products, they have been hand-crafting their items in Seattle for over 100 years, and now they have a magnificent new Flagship store in the historic Star Manufacturing Building in the heart of SoDo.

I don't think I have ever used magnificent on the blog before.

Take a look...

    True Patina.  Bags that have stood the test, been expertly repaired, and available for purchase yet again.

How I take my DJ's.

Food Catered by another Seattle Landmark Tom Douglas.

The chair my furniture dreams are made of.

    If you live or visit Seattle, add this place to your list of places to visit.  They also offer factory tours

Now think hipster rugged lumberjack chic - bold buffalo check and thick bright wool patterns, trimmed in faux fur, a camping bar set in all copper, wonderful wool throws.  Perfect gifts for that tough to please person on your list, head on over to Jenn's blogs to see her picks.
