Well I think technically this is a swimsuit coverup, but why should it have to sit sadly in the back of my closet waiting for a vacation. There is a much better chance of wearing this piece over jeans on any given day, than sitting poolside in the sun. This is the reality of my life.
I paired this lace lovely with jeans and a tank for an easy day look. I love way you can see the silhouette of my outfit underneath the sheer lace. The key to wearing any sheer piece such as this coverup is getting the clothes underneath right. A slim fitting skinny jean seemed to work best, the white tank makes this look more casual. Pair it with a black tank and heel for an evening look. Think of this coverup just like a kimono or light weight cardigan.
It's just too good to keep it only in the swimsuit coverup box.
I love feeling a bit beach chic on my everyday streets and having more versatility in my closet. Now if the sun would just stay out for longer than an afternoon.
